Dengue fever is on the rise in Sao Paulo, Brazil in an epidemic which has resulted in the death of 24 people in Brazil's most populous state so far this year.
The mosquito-borne infectious tropical disease has spread as Sao Paulo state suffers water shortages in the wake of the worst, months-long drought.
A total of 94,623 dengue cases were registered across the state in January and February. But the worst may still be to come, as the March to May period usually sees the largest spread of the disease.
