Two food establishments in Cincinnati — the Moerlein Lager House and the Montgomery Inn — were hacked. A black and white banner was placed above each of their websites announcing it was “Hacked by the Islamic State (ISIS).”

The text on the banner also read: "We are everywhere ;-)" (including the emoticon).

Another restaurant in Mississippi, The Shed Barbeque & Blues Joint, saw a similar attack.
Speculation abounds: Could it be a jihad against bad tabouli? Given that those particular three restaurants serve ribs, maybe they were attacked for not being halal.
ISIL — or whoever is claiming to be them — hasn’t been exclusively invading websites for restaurants. The wrath also seems to have spread to other businesses including the Eldora Speedway in Dayton, Ohio, and two companies in St. Louis — MERS Goodwill and a digital agency named Elasticity.
