The headquarters of Pakistan's dominant political party, the MQM, have been raided by the country's paramilitary forces, media reports said.
The raid on the MQM's offices in the city of Karachi was staged on Wednesday morning by the paramilitary Sindh Rangers, who reportedly recovered "illegal weapons" from the premises.
The party has repeatedly been accused of being involved in extortion and the killing of opponents. The MQM denies the charges.
