Police on Hunt for Suspects in Ferguson, Hundreds Gather to Pray
07:42 GMT 13.03.2015 (Updated: 10:06 GMT 06.08.2022) Police are still searching for the suspects who shot at two police officers during protests in Ferguson early on Thursday; the two officers were released from a local hospital as hundreds gathered for a candlelight vigil and prayer meeting.
The two police officers who were shot during the protests in Ferguson early on Thursday have been released from the hospital.
Police are still searching for the men who are suspected of shooting the law enforcement officers,; two US Representatives from Missouri have announced a $3,000 reward to those who can provide relevant information to help find those responsible.
Meanwhile a crowd of more than 100 protesters, who appeared to be peaceful, gathered near the Ferguson, Missouri, police department on Thursday.
Another group of religious leaders and demonstrators held a candlelight vigil and prayed not only for the wounded officers and their families, but for protesters and for the nation as a whole.
The Ferguson, Missouri authorities have called on the residents to keep the peace.
