Researchers announced on Thursday that they found two skeletons that could belong to the renowned author of "Don Quixote," Miguel Cervantes, and his wife, Catalina de Salazar.
The discovery was made at the Convent of the Barefoot Trinitarians in Madrid, in a crypt which had the initials "MC" inscribed on it. Miguel Cervantes' bones originally went missing in 1673 when the convent was rebuilt.
The find coincides with the 400th anniversary of the publication of the second volume of "Don Quixote."
