Just two days before the general elections Netanyahu and other right-wing party leaders are expected to speak at the major right-wing rally, a rally organizer said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik), Svetlana Alexandrova – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other right-wing party leaders are expected to speak at the major right-wing rally, scheduled for Sunday, just two days before the general elections, a rally organizer told Sputnik on Friday.

"We are 99 percent sure that Benjamin Netanyahu, Naftali Bennett, who is Bayit Yehudi leader, Yahad leader Eli Yishai and Mair Porush from Yahadut Hatorah are going to attended the demonstration," rally organizer and former mayor of Kedumim Daniela Weiss told Sputnik.

She also said that a turnout of 50,000 supporters is expected at the rightists' rally in Tel Aviv.

The demonstration, titled "United for the Land of Israel," is being organized in response to last Saturday's left-wing gathering that called for the replacement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the upcoming elections, Weiss informed.

Over 30,000 protesters gathered on Saturday night in Tel Aviv's central Rabin square for the left-wing demonstration. The slogans spoke for themselves: "Netanyahu Must Go" and "Israel Wants Change."

Israel's Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who is also Yisrael Beitenu's leader, will not attend Sunday's event. His spokesperson told Sputnik that senior party members and activists will attend the rally, while Lieberman himself is going to another campaign event in Negev.

"Avigdor Lieberman is a well-known right-wing leader and he does not have to prove himself by participating in it," Yisrael Beitenu's spokesman stated.

An early general election in Israel is scheduled for March 17. The two main rivals are the largest parties – Likud, headed by current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the opposition Zionist Union, led by Isaac Herzog.

The last poll of the campaign was released on Friday and shows rival party Zionist Union winning more seats in the Israeli parliament than Netanyahu's Likud Party.

Israeli law prohibits polls from being published less than four days before an election, so the next set of numbers will be the exit polls on Election Day next Tuesday.
