A passenger ferry has sunk off Myanmar's west coast, leaving at least 33 people dead and 12 others missing, media reports said.
The tragedy took place late Friday, when the ferry Aung Takon 3 with more than 200 people on board left the town of Kyaukphyu for the city of Sittwe in western Myanmar.
Police said that 167 people have already been saved in the ongoing search-and-rescue operation.
