LAUSANNE (Sputnik) — Iran and international mediators have agreed to reach a deal that would guarantee the peaceful nature of the Islamic Republic's nuclear program in exchange for easing of sanctions by July.
"We still have serious differences and serious gaps, we will see if we are able to handle them. We achieved some progress during the recent rounds of nuclear talks. We will see if we will achieve it this time," Araghchi said ahead of the next round of talks on Iran's nuclear program.
The previous round of negotiations of P5+1 group, which is comprised of the United States, Russia, China, France, Germany and the United Kingdom, with Tehran finished on March 5.
On Saturday, US Secretary of State John Kerry said that during the last session of talks sides managed to reach some progress.
