Chinese authorities will reassess their position to China’s family planning policy, as a lifting of restrictions on population growth has not brought any significant results, with families not willing to bear more than one child.
Experts suggested that restrictions should further be relieved, with one of them even proposing to implement a compulsory two-child policy.
China’s family-planning policy has led to a massive gender imbalance in the country. It also resulted in such problems, as a rapidly aging population and lack of labor force.
