Romania will stop to importing Russian gas as of April 2015, according to Niculae Havrilet, head of Romania's National Agency for Energy Regulation.
He said that next month will see a 10-percent excess of domestic gas production over gas demand in Romania.
Havrilet also praised efforts by the country's enterprises to reduce natural gas consumption by increasing their energy efficiency.
