Commenting on the individual partnership plan between Serbia and NATO, Ivica Dačić told TV Pink that Serbia had no intention of joining NATO, but that there was a joint interest in the building of peace in the region, in cooperation with NATO.
He said that cooperation between Serbia and NATO had very well-known bases and that a contract on partnership for peace had been mutually signed, International Radio Serbia reported.
“By cooperating with NATO, we have received guarantees that no Kosovo security forces of any kind can enter northern Kosmet (Kosovo and Metohija) without NATO’s consent,” Dačić said.
He said that Serbia’s goal was to build partnership relations with everyone, adding that Serbia has the same observer status in the Organization for Collective Security and Cooperation.
