The joint training exercise will include Air Forces from Finland, Sweden and the United States and will start on Tuesday, March 24. Between two and four Finnish F/18 Hornet fighters will participate. The US will include its F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter aircraft and Sweden its JAS 39 Gripen.
The Finnish and American Air Forces will conduct joint bilateral trainings during March 24 to 26 and also on March 30. All the three countries will take part in trainings on March 31 and April 1.
The flights will be set in the afternoon and they will not be armed.
Finnish fighters will not participate in training on the territory of Estonia, where a US air base is located.
