One of the magazine's writers was found dead at the scene, according to Sabah newspaper.
The magazine is associated with the Great Eastern Islamic Raiders' Front (İBDA-C), an Islamist militant group that supports Islamic rule in Turkey.
IBDA-C has called the current administration in power in Turkey illegal and claimed responsibility for attacks in 2003 on both Jewish and British targets that claimed the lives of 57 people.
The cause of the explosion is so far unknown but investigators are considering the possibility of a bomb.
