LAUSANNE (Sputnik) — The P5+1 group agreed among themselves on preliminary deal on Tehran's nuclear program and now waits for Iran’s stance on the issue, a source in French delegation said Wednesday.
“The six [powers] agree with each other. They are now waiting for the answer from Iran,” the source told reporters.
The P5+1 group of international mediators, comprising Russia, the United Kingdom, France, China, the United States and Germany, are holding talks in Switzerland, attempting to convince Iran to halt its uranium enrichment program.
The deadline for agreement on the political framework was set previously for midnight on Tuesday, March 31.
