"We are moving forward," said head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi, regarding the talks on Iran's nuclear program.

LAUSANNE (Sputnik) — The talks on Tehran's nuclear program in Lausanne, Switzerland are moving forward, head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi said Wednesday.

Tehran Expected More Progress in Nuclear Talks - Iranian Foreign Minister
"We are moving forward," Salehi told reporters.

The current round of negotiations in between Iran and the P5+1 group, including Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, China, France and Germany, is yet another attempt to reach a comprehensive deal that would ensure peaceful nature of Iranian nuclear program.

Tuesday was the deadline for the negotiators to hammer out an agreement but the talks continued into the night and resumed on Wednesday.
