The man, whose name was not mentioned, arrived on a flight from Tel-Aviv but the Ukrainian border authorities had already been notified by Interpol that he would attempt to cross into the country.
According to the Ukrainian border officials the 56-year-old Frenchman was put on Interpol’s wanted list for committing a series of crimes in France.
