SANAA (Sputnik) — "Four people have died, two of them from Red Crescent, as a result of an attack on the car belonging to the Yemeni Red Crescent," the source said.
The situation in Yemen has deteriorated dramatically amid violence surrounding the political crisis in the country. While al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula militants are operating in the country's south, the central territories are suffering from clashes between forces loyal to the Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and the troops supporting Houthi militants that have seized large territories in the country.
On March 25, Saudi Arabia and a number of other countries launched airstrikes on Houthi positions following Hadi's request.
