LONDON (Sputnik) – The Conservative Tories' message obtained by the channel suggests that the candidates should focus on "negative campaigning," stressing "chaotic" consequences of a possible pact between Labour and the Scottish National Party (SNP).
The Conservative candidates are also advised to tell the voters that any vote for parties other than the Conservatives will be a vote for Edward Miliband, the Labour party leader.
The news comes after a Daily Mirror survey revealed on Thursday that Miliband overtook Conservative leader David Cameron for the first time in personal approval ratings. Also, the Labour party took a four-point lead over the Tories, the survey said.
The UK general election is scheduled to take place on May 7, 2015. The British electorate will elect representatives to sit in the House of Commons, the country's lower house of parliament, for the next five years.
