MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Thousands of Poles are planning to take to the streets of Krakow to protest against Warsaw's decision to support official Kiev.
The protest aims to show that Polish citizens do not want conflicts with Russia, Mlodzi Malopolscy Patrioci, the protest organizer group, told Sputnik last week.
According to the event’s Facebook page, some 6,700 people are planning to attend the rally.
In March, Polish authorities announced that the country would provide military training to Ukrainian troops under NATO’s Defenсe Education Enhancement Programme.
Warsaw, alongside other members of the military alliance, has repeatedly lashed out against Russia for its alleged aggression in Ukraine.
Moscow has firmly denied any involvement in the conflict in Ukraine’s southeast, which has claimed the lives of more than 6,000 people since it started a year ago.
