MEXICO CITY (Sputnik) — The collision of two small aircraft in Colombia has resulted in the death of three people aboard, the country's civil aviation said Monday.
"Colombian Air Force rescue services confirmed that there are no survivors of the crash of two planes," the statement read.
The incident took place in the skies above the Santander region while two training planes were heading to the Colombian capital Bogota. Poor weather conditions could be the cause of the accident, according to local media.
