Boko Haram militants have kidnapped at least 2,000 women and girls since the beginning of last year, rights group Amnesty International stated in a new report.
According to the NGO, many of those abducted were forced into sexual slavery; others were trained so that they can fight for Boko Haram.
According to Amnesty International, more than 5,500 civilians have been killed by the group, which recently pledged allegiance to the Islamic State.
