WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — A pedestrian bridge fell on Wednesday afternoon on the metro tracks in Prince George’s County, Maryland, causing disruption of Washington, DC Metro's green line, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority announced on its website.
“Green Line: Rail service suspended indefinitely between College Park & Greenbelt due to pedestrian bridge collapse. Shuttle buses operating between College Park & Greenbelt,” the Metropolitan Area Transit Authority statement said.
According to the media report, no one was injured.
