MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Relations of equal partnership with Moscow and respect to Russian speakers in Ukraine are the only things that Russia wants from Kiev, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a televised Q&A session Thursday.
“At present, Russia expects nothing from the Kiev government other than being treated as an equal partner. And, of course, the respect to legitimate rights of Russians who live in Ukraine… is also an important issue for us.”
