ATHENS (Sputnik) — The arrested German citizen was sought by the German and French authorities, while an arrest warrant for the Turk was issued by the German security service.
“On April 15 and April 18, respectively, two foreigners [were arrested] — a German citizen aged 47 and a citizen of Turkey aged 56,” the police’s press release said.
Extradition proceedings for the German national were launched immediately, while the Turkish suspect will appear before the prosecutor on Sunday.
