TOKYO, April 19 (Sputnik) — All domestic flights were grounded in the Japanese city of Hiroshima due to weather conditions and an Airbus A320 rough landing that damaged a navigational antenna earlier this week, local media reported Sunday.
On Tuesday, 23 people sustained light injuries on board South Korea's Asiana Airlines passenger jet that skidded off Hiroshima Airport's runway and caught an antenna at a nearby communications facility.
According to Japan's NHK, poor visibility expected over the next few days due to rain and a damaged instrument landing system renders flights unsafe, causing the latest shutdown.
Two days after resuming flights, the current weather forecast grounded all domestic and several regional Chinese flights.
