NEW YORK (Sputnik) — US authorities arrested Guyanese citizen Olive Fowler on April 12 after she presented herself for inspection and “exhibited numerous signs of nervousness,” according to CBP. The cocaine was discovered within the girdle and underwear following a physical search.
“CBP estimates that total weight of approximately four pounds of cocaine was seized, with an estimated street value of more than $73,000 according to the latest DEA [Drug Enforcement Agency] statistics,” the statement, issued on Monday, said.
