Russia's Defense Ministry has partially unveiled the new Armata platform, showing photos of both the tank and the armoured combat vehicle versions of the platform on its May 9 parade preparation page.
The tank's turret is sheathed in a covering, but the outline of the main compartment is not covered. The front of the tank is covered with reactive armor and the back has slat armor to protect from anti-tank RPG attacks.
