MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Missouri police are involved in two separate standoffs, including one in Ferguson, where at least one person was shot, RT reported Tuesday.
St.Louis county SWAT team is reportedly dealing with a person barricaded at home in St.John city.
Three schools in St.John are on lockdown due to the stand-off.
Last year, tensions in Ferguson, Missouri, erupted after Michael Brown, an unarmed African-American teenager, was fatally shot by white police officer Darren Wilson on August 9, 2014.
The killing, and a jury's subsequent decision not to indict Wilson, triggered a wave of local and nation-wide protests.
