MOSCOW (Sputnik) — At least 12 people have been injured after a stage collapsed Thursday night during a performance in Westfield High School in the city of Indianapolis, US Indiana, a local TV channel said.

One person among injured was hurt critically, five others got serious trauma, the rest of the victims have minor injuries, WTHR TV channel said, citing local police.
The police closed the auditorium to investigate what caused the accident. Classes in the school will be held as usual on Friday.
The stage tumbled down into a room below during a school production finale, when almost 30 students were dancing, according to the news outlet. The premises under the collapsed stage were empty.
