Boko Haram Renamed ‘Islamic State in West Africa’

Subscribe
Last month, the terrorist group swore allegiance to the ‘Islamic State’ terrorist group, active in Syria and Iraq.

Boko Haram has reportedly taken a new name “Islamic State in West Africa” and published new pictures of its members.

Earlier, the group announced its loyalty with the notorious terrorist group “The Islamic State” (ISIL), responsible for violence and atrocities in Syria and Iraq.

ISIL supported the decision of Boko Haram and urged its members to extend their activities to West Africa.

Boko Haram has carried out numerous terrorist attacks on religious and political organizations as well as civilians. The group has killed more than 5,000 people since 2009.
