MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Swedish Supreme Court will most likely review lifting the arrest warrant against Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, Wikileaks spokesman Kristinn Hrafnsson told Sputnik on Tuesday.
"This is correct. As far as I know, the Supreme Court has decided to hear that," Hrafnsson said.
He underlined that the lift of the arrest warrant has been one of Assange's main demands.
"But also, our demand is that the lawyers get access to all the investigative material that has been collected so far by the Prosecutor’s Office," he said adding that this demand would also be heard by the Supreme Court.
He said that the time and date for the hearing is not clear yet, however "usually it is a relatively quick procedure after the Supreme Court has decided to hear the case, so I would expect that to be finalized within weeks, rather than months."
