ALMATY (Sputnik) – Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has nominated Karim Masimov for the office of the country’s prime minister, after the government resigned earlier on Wednesday when Nazarbayev was sworn into office for his fifth presidential term, the government’s press service said.
“The head of state has nominated Karim Masimov for the office of the country’s prime minister,” the press service said.
