MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Hammonton Police Chief Robert Jones was quoted as saying by the Press of Atlantic City that 15 people had been taken to the hospital by ambulance following a leak at Home Solutions Infusion Therapy.
A spokeswoman at the clinic told local media all victims had suffered inhalation injuries, although there was no information about their severity.
Mayor Steve DiDonato told the Press of Atlantic City that two patients had to be transported to the hospital by helicopter after they complained of "a burning sensation" in the chest.
Further 35 people were examined right at the scene, while emergency workers combed the stricken building to make sure there were no people trapped within.
