WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — A deceased man was discovered in Baltimore in a trailer near the site where a CVS Pharmacy was looted and burned during Monday night’s riot over the death of Freddie Gray, according to media reports on Friday.

“A 51-year-old man was found dead in a truck near the CVS that was burned in Monday’s riot,” The Baltimore Sun reported.

On Monday, protests turned into riots after the funeral of 25-year-old African American Freddie Gray, who died of a spinal cord injury received in police custody. Rioters destroyed 144 cars, 15 buildings and looted stores.

The man has not yet been identified, and police are labeling his death suspicious, according to local media.

“Officers found the body, which showed no obvious signs of trauma or foul play, in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue,” local media said.

The Baltimore police suspect the death is unrelated to unrest over Gray’s death despite the fact the trailer was parked next to the destroyed CVS Pharmacy, but a medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the final cause of death, according to media reports.

Additionally, an agitated protester who broke curfew late Thursday night was arrested, media reported on Friday.

A weeklong curfew is in effect in Baltimore from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. as Baltimore police, strengthened by police from neighboring regions and the Maryland National Guard, patrol the city.
