The 2015 festival of icebreakers devoted to the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and heroic deeds of the Arctic convoys is taking place in Saint Petersburg on May 2-3.

It involves such Russian operating icebreakers as the Ivan Kruzenstern, the Mudyug, and the Kapitan Sorokin. The flagman ship is the legendary icebreaker Krasin (the St. Petersburg branch of the Museum of the World Ocean).
