MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The fight occurred in the Korydallos prison West of the city center.
Those killed in the fight are reported to be of Asian origin, presumably from Pakistan, according to Ta Nea newspaper.
Seven people were sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a local hospital, while the others were treated at the prison medical center.
According to news.in.gr, the fight erupted between a group of Albanians and Arabs, and a group of Pakistanis.
The situation is reported to be calm at the moment. Hellenic Police forces have been deployed in the area.
