Modern Russian Weaponry to Hit Over 150 Targets at Army-2015 Expo
Modern Russian-made pieces of weaponry will hit over 150 stationary and moving targets, showing their combat capabilities at the inaugural Army-2015 international forum, the Russian Defense Ministry said Tuesday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Alabino military training facility near Moscow will host test firing of T-72B3 and T-80U battle tanks, BTR-82A and BTR-MD Rakushka armored personnel carriers, 2C25 Sprut and Msta-S self-propelled guns and TOS-1A Solntsepek multiple launch rocket systems.
Firing capabilities of small arms will be shown at a special range featuring 25 shooting lanes.
Russian drones, aircraft and other equipment will also be tested during the forum which is aimed at bringing together potential arms developers, suppliers and purchasers with the Russian Armed Forces.
Guests of the Army-2015 expo will be able to familiarize themselves with Russian-made arms on June 17-18.
The organizers estimate that more than 100,000 visitors and representatives of the military from over 100 nations will attend the June 16-19 conference.
