MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The 186-page publication, written by Peter Schweizer, focuses on the history of foreign cash inflows to the Clinton Foundation when Hillary ran the US Department of State in 2009-2013.
The book has spurred much debate in the country, coming out just weeks after she announced her 2016 presidential bid.
“We will see a pattern of financial transactions involving the Clintons that occurred contemporaneous with favorable US policy decisions benefiting those providing the funds,” Schweizer writes in the book, excerpts of which were published by local media ahead of its release.
The revelation was followed by a drop in Clinton’s popularity, according to recent polls. Nevertheless, she is considered the strongest candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination.
