China’s ambassador to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Li Jinjun discussed China's strategic vision of Belt and Road initiatives in his meeting with DPRK vice Foreign Minister Ri Gil Song.
Cooperative relations between China and Korea have unique advantages in politics, trade and economic development, geography and people-to-people exchange, the ambassador added.
He further said that China and the DPRK should look to the future, be innovative, seek common ground while deferring differences and seize the opportunity to deepen practical cooperation to promote a sound and steady development in relations.
The ambassador also briefed the minister on China's politics, economy and social development and expressed interest in the DPRK's achievements in economic development and improvement of people's livelihood.
The mutual cooperation and DPRK-China friendship is valuable to both countries and serves common interests in the region.
