Some 16 thousand servicemen from 11 countries marched through Red Square on Thursday in the final rehearsal before the May 9 Victory Day Parade.
Over 16 thousand servicemen took part in the final rehearsal for Moscow's Victory Day Parade commemorating the 70th anniversary of victory in WWII.
The parade rehearsal was composed of marching servicemen, ground military equipment and aviation.
Other than Russian troops, 732 servicemen from 10 countries including China, India and Serbia took part in the parade rehearsal.
The paraded ground equipment included hardware on the Armata platform, the Kurganets infantry fighting vehicle family, Bumerang armored personnel carriers and the Koalitsiya-SV self-propelled howitzer.
Other new equipment included the Russian Airborne Forces' BMD-4M, the multirole Rakushka APC and the strategic rocket forces' Yars intercontinental ballistic missile launcher.
The aerial parade was opened with the commander of Russia's air force, Viktor Bondarev, who flew on the Tu-160 "White Swan" heavy strategic bomber.
For the first time, the parade included Su-30 and Su-35 fighter jets, as well as modernized Mi-35M ground strike helicopters.
The May 9 Moscow Victory Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. Moscow time on Saturday.
