Cosmonauts on the International Space Station (ISS) will unveil a copy of the Soviet victory banner on May 9.

"We will give our history to future generation," Cosmonaut Training Centre head Yuri Lonchakov said in April.
The banner was delivered to the ISS in late March by the manned Soyuz TMA-16M spacecraft.
Along with the banner, the cosmonauts delivered a small flag of Russia which will be stamped with the ISS seal on May 9 and later returned back to Earth. The ISS currently contains three Russian cosmonauts, two American astronauts and one European astronaut from Italy.
