A total of 102 PLA servicemen divided into three units, representing PLA's army, navy and air force, took part in the largest-ever Victory Day parade.
The soldiers were marching at 120 paces per minute to the sounds of the popular Russian song Katyusha, according to CCTV.
"Their feet, rifles, hats and hands are all required to be aligned, and the size of their strides should be the same," the media outlet noted.
"While it may look impressive, the marching is a result of grueling training sessions of about ten hours every day," CCTV said.
Chinese President Xi Jinping was one of nearly 30 world leaders, who took part in the celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of victory in the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War.
