Kerry: Poroshenko Should 'Think Twice' Before Using Force in Donbass
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The Russian Ambassador added that the discussion between the ministers and President Putin will help define priorities and outline a future course in the relations between the two countries.

“The willingness to discuss complicated questions with the intention to find solutions is the most important moment of the [Lavrov-Kerry] press conference, and probably the most important moment of the negotiations in Sochi,” Kislyak said on Tuesday at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

On Tuesday, Kerry met with Putin and Lavrov behind closed doors in Russia's Black Sea resort of Sochi during his first visit to Russia since May 2013.

The Ukrainian crisis, the situation in Syria and the Iranian nuclear program were among the main issues discussed in Sochi by the two sides.

After the meeting, Kerry said in a press conference that the United States did not expect any significant breakthrough in the talks, but considers the dialogue with the Russian leadership very important.
