One person has been shot in a recent attack in the Gamlestaden area of Gothenburg on Wednesday morning; just months after several high profile shootings took place in the city in western Sweden.
The shooter, who has not yet been found, and another person are reported to have left the area on a Vespa after the attack. According to witnesses the shooter fired a weapon in the direction of two people, one of whom was hit by around half-a-dozen gun shots.
"One person has been taken by ambulance to the Sahlgrenska University Hospital," local media reported police spokesman Christer Fuxborg as saying.
