Police in Nepal say that the death toll from the earthquake that hit the country on Tuesday has risen to 96; 2,563 others were injured, according to media reports.
The epicenter of the 7.5-magnitude quake was detected in the Dolakha district, located about 130 kilometers east of the capital Kathmandu.
On April 25, more than 8,000 people were killed and 17,000 more were injured in a 7.9-magnitude earthquake in Nepal.
