MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Another attempt of the International Space Station (ISS) orbit correction with the help of the Progress M-26M cargo spacecraft will be carried out on May 18, a source in space industry said Sunday.
On Saturday, a planned correction of the ISS orbit could not be carried out after the engines of the Progress M-26M failed to start on time.
“The start of the operation is planned for 3:30 a.m. Moscow time [00:30 GMT, Monday],” the source told RIA Novosti.
Parameters of the orbit enlargement are being calculated, according to the source.
