Britain must do everything in its power to change minds in Brussels,” Farage said as quoted on UKIP’s website.
Earlier this week, the Global Initiative reported that a high number of migrants wanting to flee North Africa triggered the development of coastal migrant trade. The trade has strengthened terrorist groups operating in the region, including the Islamic State (ISIL).
Earlier in the day, Libyan government adviser Abdul Basit Haroun told the BBC that Islamic State (ISIL) militants are traveling to Europe alongside refugees across the Mediterranean Sea.
Europe is currently struggling with a spike in uncontrolled migration, as thousands of migrants fleeing conflicts in North Africa and the Middle East attempt to reach European coasts via the Mediterranean Sea.
According to the United Nations, some 60,000 people have tried to cross the Mediterranean in 2015.
Eralier this week, the European Commission published its European Agenda on Migration that details key principles and actions concerning migration for the period up until 2020.
