Crimean Prosecutor General Natalia Poklonskaya considers Ukraine’s announced intention to search for prosecutors who are suspected of treason the ‘self-PR of the Kiev authorities’, noting that they can find her at her workplace from 8 am to 10 pm.
In the first place, it concerns the staff of the law-enforcement authorities in Crimea. According to Matios, all suspected officials will be declared wanted due to their absence on Ukrainian soil. Prior to this, Poklonskaya had already been put on the wanted list by the Security Service of Ukraine.
"For individuals who are looking for us, who are looking for me: I'm from 8 am to 10 pm at my workplace," Poklonskaya said. "I don’t know anything about the fact that they bring accusations and are allegedly conducting an investigation, from official sources, except for the media. I know nothing. So all that is said in Ukraine is just empty words," she added.
According to Poklonskaya, Kiev authorities have not provided Crimean prosecutors with any official document on the issue.
"Nothing was done, we have not seen any papers. People conduct self-PR," Poklonskaya said.
She also promised an adequate response to the groundless accusations of the Ukrainian side.
"There will be an adequate reaction from our side," Poklonskaya said. "But I will not reveal the secret, let it be a surprise," she added.
