MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the Delfi portal, Grybauskaite was being interviewed by the local LTV channel. When asked whether the legalization of same-sex marriages was necessary in the country, the president replied by stating that the topic was not among the "agreed questions."

"I believe that we have not agreed on this question. I don't want to talk about this. I thought we agreed on specific questions, don't try to delay me… if you're ending with these questions, then we are done" Grybauskaite said.

After the interviewer attempted to ask Grybauskaite a third question regarding the collapse of the Maxima shop in Riga, the president asked for the interview to be ended.
In 2013, a shopping center in Riga, containing the Lithuanian Maxima supermarket, collapsed. At least 54 people died in the tragedy.
