MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The president of Russian oil giant LUKoil will meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Abadi later on Thursday in Moscow to discuss the completion of the West Qurna-2 oil field project, a source close to the preparations of the negotiations told RIA Novosti.

“The head of LUKoil, Vagit Alekperov, plans to participate in the meeting [with the Iraqi delegation] and discuss issues and problems of completing the West Qurna-2 project,” the source said.
